Transgender Woman Arrested in Henderson, Nevada Casino Parking Garage Following Alleged Mass Shooting Threats

Henderson Police arrested 36-year-old Allison Howlett on June 27 after her spouse called 911 to report a domestic dispute.

According to the emergency call, Howlett allegedly left the residence in an SUV carrying multiple firearms while making threats to carry out an attack that would result in mass casualties.

Officers later located the vehicle in the parking garage of Sunset Station Casino using tracking technology. According to police, Howlett barricaded herself inside the vehicle before officers took her into custody without any reported injuries.

Weapons Authorities Say Were Recovered

According to law enforcement officials:

  • Inside the vehicle: Officers recovered 22 firearms, along with suppressors and high-capacity magazines. Reports indicate that the firearms were part of the legal inventory of a licensed gun dealership owned by Howlett's spouse.
  • At the residence: Authorities said they recovered approximately 30 additional firearms, including automatic weapons, an M2 .50-caliber machine gun, and rifles equipped with grenade launchers.

Law enforcement also referenced a 2024 audio recording in which Howlett allegedly stated, "If the FBI doesn't come arrest me, there's gonna be a mass shooting."

Charges Filed

Howlett is facing 35 felony charges, including:

  • Making terroristic threats.
  • Assault with a deadly weapon.
  • Grand larceny of a firearm.

However, Howlett denies planning any mass casualty attack and claims that the alleged threats attributed to her through the Discord platform were fabricated.

The case remains pending before the court, and all allegations remain unproven unless and until they are established in court.
